Out on the Hills

Out on the Hills
Form: Free Verse

A backpacker roaming the English hills
Saw the wind dancing over the peaks
Its tango rhythm catching the trees and then letting go
And the tree nymphs wanted more
So the wind swirled around
Rustling the leaves like flowing gowns
Eager nymphs dance blissfully unaware
Of the changing tempo moving through the wind
Branches stretching and bending too far
SNAP!
And the wind moved away
