Lyrics by Wolfchant

The years they past and one day follow the next
We live withdrawn in the forests 10 years now passed
Since we were attacked and had to flee into the mountains
So I cannot live on, like an animal on the escape
And my son I must convince, we must fight this time
Equivalent this evening I will tell him of my plans
Because he spoke ever more to go into war
He was inspired of my suggestion

I am war – can you see
I am your force – look at me
I am the fear in our enemies’ eyes
I am the Thunderhawk who never dies

Also the soldiers were inspired of this plan
We want to rather die than our country to lose
We must go to Ashwood, here the clan is weakest
We must convince the inhabitants to fight, we are stronger than ever before
The people must know that a member of the elders is still alive
On a hidden place in the forest we want to met
Here I will speak to all, the falcon on my arm
I am blessed by Odin and I will show you the way

Now the night had broken in, 1000 men had met
Oh Odin be by my side, they all must follow me
And Odin appeared Aahr in shape of a falcon
For the years in which you were faithful to me, I will now recompense you
I feel it your power is in me, we will be victorious
Befriends the time is come to stop our pain
Again we all should take the weapons
I be blessed by Odin and I will show you the way

I am war – can you see
I am your force – look at me
I am the fear in our enemies’ eyes
I am the thunderer who never dies

Talking to the Trees – Willow

Saille (S), the Willow tree, is the fourth tree of the Ogham

Willow Energy

The essential energy of the willow is the power to go forth into the unknown with confidence and trust in self and one’s own ability. Willow enhances the power of intuition, inspiring the leaps of faith and imagination to connect with the unconscious and deeply buried emotions.

Willow opens the way for emotions to come to the surface releasing the deep emotional pain that blocks the natural energy of the body that can lead to many physical and mental health problems. Willow is the encouragement to face and move through the many levels of sadness, releasing the grief and tears to facilitate emotional healing. A willow twig disconnected from its parent tree and be planted and grows into a new tree quite easily, reminding us that in loss and separation there is a new life and a new direction. The watery energy of the willow is flowing energy encouraging the letting go and giving in to how we feel, breaking with the conditioned responses and dealing with emotional circumstances.

Willow stimulates the ability to follow our intuition, our gut feelings, and discover what is beneath the surface. In today’s society intuition is considered unreliable, however that is not true and by using it we can allow our intuitive powers to develop and grow.

Talking to the Willow

The willow tree, found along the banks of rivers and streams, is easy to recognize with trailing branches often growing and reaching out to the water. Its canopy provides a peaceful and shady place to sit while listening to our intuition, maybe writing down thoughts, feelings and insights. The willow is a communicative tree and receptive to contact with human beings including through ancient traditions and crafts such as basket making and wand making.

That Forbidden Fruit

That Forbidden Fruit
Form: Free Verse

In a world where sex is taboo
forbidden
yet everyone knows about it
it’s all around us
and everybody wants it
needs it
loves it
it’s wonderful
and none can wait to try it
for they talk about it every day
and I wonder why I was never overwhelmed with the desire
to do sex
never felt that urge like everyone else
but went along with it anyway
as everyone loves it
and can’t wait to try it
in this world where love means sex
I asked is it right not to like it
and got told you will once you try it
so I went along with it
and I tried the forbidden fruit that is sex
and I still don’t like it
probably I never will
but you liked it
it made you smile
so I did it to please you
with tears in my heart
and my soul in tatters
to please you
but I can’t do that anymore
I am asexual in a sexual world
and my sexuality is real

The Waiting Game

A Garret Poet

The Waiting Game
Form: Sicilian Quintain

Beyond these realms, there is no sense of fear,
Mystery reveals a different breath,
A warm embrace to hold the soul so dear,
While in her loving arms we wait for death,
And see her smile, at last she’s standing near.

The end is nothing, let her come tonight,
For death is merely beginning anew,
Thus trust the soul to know the time is right,
As it discards the dismal mortal view,
And leaves to dance within her sacred light
