Rolling Wave

Rolling Wave
Form: Raven’s Rovi Sonnet 56

Sweet thoughts of you that come to embrace me
So making my heart beat again with love
That sweetest love that forever will be
The moment you took my hand I felt it
Washing over me like a rolling wave
Overwhelming, all-consuming love hit
My senses; you’re everything I crave
At first so much more than I can admit
As you showed my heart what it was made of
You bound me with desire setting me free
And at that moment, I gave you my all
And now without you, there’s nothing to save
I won’t cry, I’ve let all those tears fall
For your love is mine whenever I call
