Storm

Storm
Form: Abstract Poetry
Theme: Winter
Subject: A tree

Winds scowling and howling
whisking and frisking through the trees
cracking and stacking twigs on the path
as a thunderous snap raps through the air
and a tree crashes to the ground
no longer to dance in this cacophony of sound
and after the storm
it lies still in the silence
