Romantic Thoughts…

Memories and tears
ripple gently on the waves
shimmering glimmers of love
of me and you
brief echoes of our moments
in time
before the darkness
and our dreams remained dreams
I’ve got better at it, darling
I’ve learned to see
the ripples of light in the night
of love reaching out
beyond…
beyond life.
