Bohemian Smiles

Bohemian Smiles
Form: English Sonnet
We are dreamers in love as we tango tonight
Into worlds of a fantasy passion in dreams
In this, dance my bohemian smiles with delight
As your eyes now reflect the old silver moonbeams.
And my lady, we dance and there lies in my heart
Such a love song that's roving from place and in time
To embrace in this crazed way of poetry's art,
In the beauty of love that is rhythm and rhyme
If my love is a dream, then my dream I will live
As we tango each night where we find our romance,
Filled with love and in sensual moments forgive
A lost rover as dreams now meander through dance.
For I love as I sing and I dance with my pen
All the dreams of my heart as I love you again

American Kestrels — A Mated Pair — Sonoran Images
Recently, I was advised by a friend that he’d seen a pair of American Kestrels perching on a Saguaro Cactus. Kestrels are not social birds and one rarely sees two of them perching in close proximity to each other. It could have been chance but there was another possibility, and so, several days after having […] … Continue reading American Kestrels — A Mated Pair — Sonoran Images
