Yervinyan is a violinist and composer. He began his musical studies at the age of seven at the Spenderian Music School under the tutorage of Armen Minasian. Yervinyan won all the first place prizes in all the competitions he entered in his age group. He continued his studies at Tchaikovsky’s Music Conservatory under Maestro Edward Dayan. In 1993 Yervinyan earned a PhD from Yerevan State Musical Conservatory.
