And a milk shake
Gave him the break
Then he went home

Peace and War

Peace and War
Form: Pathya Vat
Theme: Art
Subject: Peace and War by Peter Paul Rubens

Hey little girl
With big wide eyes
Why are you scared
Of those dark skies
Call me in sighs
Tell me your thoughts
Why you’re feeling
So out of sorts
In sacred courts
They fight for peace
And you’ll be safe
The war will cease
And wealth increase
Oh little girl
Let go of fear
Gods can be churl
Peace and War by Peter Paul Rubens, 1629-30. Oil on canvas: National Gallery, London, UK
