Microfiction May Day 10 – Sky Tears

Sky Tears
Form: Microfiction

Seriously, I didn’t want to be sat here but here I was. The first session of group therapy. There were four of us, all with faces that said the same “wish I was somewhere else.” I stared outside the window, understanding the sky as it wept rainfall into the street.

So here we were sitting in silence, all trying not to look at anyone, all dreading the next 45 minutes. A hippy dressed in a floral print entered the room.

“Hi everyone. I want you all to tell me what colour you are”

Looking at the window I said, “I’m rain-cloud grey.”
