I don’t watch much TV, but Time Team had me hooked on a Sunday for years, still would if it were going.

history in fields
the team digging their trenches
odd bits and pieces
Roman coins, pottery shards
wall foundations – all finds
to telling the tales
ancient times in a roundhouse
to bombs of battle
while the dead have their grave goods
our past is coming alive
