Bob Ross is an absolute legend and watching him paint is simply chill out, especially if he has his squirrels – and what has he taught me – to beat the devil out of my brush so it’s ready to go to the next colours

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an ongoing project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever-growing love of poetry.

  1. He was such a gentle soul, sowing seeds of happiness with his one-liners and painting show. A favorite of mine: “Ever make mistakes in life? Let’s make them birds. Yeah, they’re birds now.” 😍
