Peaceful Life
Form: Sapphic Ode
Content the heart that stops to think
Beyond his thoughts of sensual lust
And stays at love’s edge on the brink
Looking for trust
Perhaps too much he waits his chance
And lives his life of peace alone
Without romantic dalliance
A life unknown
