It promotes optimism, courage and determination, self-esteem, and willpower and aids in focusing the mind on what we want and striving to get it. Hematite is a stone of harmony and helps dissolve the mind, body, and spirit of negativity.
As a grounding stone hematite is most often associated with the root chakra. The hematite healing properties help with circulatory problems, increasing the iron levels in the blood, and the flow of oxygen through the body. Hematite can also stimulate the glands, activate the liver, gallbladder, and spleen as well as increasing resistance to stress and easing muscle cramps in the legs.
