Imperfect Voices

Where are the promised legions of hope
promised in a sacrifice of redemption
they, the chosen by grace
called to serve only themselves
in a dressage of spiteful judgement
preaching hate and rejecting the gift of love
called by light into darkness
lost beyond wilderness
shouting out their perfections
and rejecting truth in contemptuous acts
against the sacredness of love
the imperfect voices
face a different world
where love is the purest state
unconditional in the giving
unbounded by faith in falseness
born imperfectly perfect
in that darkness that invites
only the truest of light
