Inspired by and written for Weekly Prompts Colour Challenge – thank you Sue and GC
A Touch of Rouge
Form: Cywydd Llosgyrnog
Just a brief momentary glance
Right before thinking had a chance
Who said romance now was dead
As cheeks echo with a coy flush
Ad loud voices seemingly hush
Yet I blush with nothing said

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an ongoing project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever-growing love of poetry.
