No Looking Back
Form: Roundel

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened
Dr Seuss

No looking back, gaze upon tomorrow,
And leave behind the pain where old tears track,
Remember beauty carried where winds blow,
No looking back.

When all around is stained in tainted black,
Recall the times a touch set life aglow,
Such joy remains in the mind's bric-a-brac.

Do not cry for love when it turns to go,
For its happiness has left its own plaque,
And in the heart, a new love comes to grow,
So don't look back.
